We work on the Global Food Systems Transformation in China and Globally. We Build Networks, Engineer Tools, and Empower Farmers.
ABOUT US
Agricultural production systems are at an inevitable turning point. We have to produce healthy food, fiber and energy for more people on less land with vastly reduced environmental impact and fair for everyone involved in the process. The consequential 'Global Food Systems Transformation' has to build on agroecological principles.
Our "Sustainable Agricultural Systems & Engineering" lab led by Prof. Thomas Cherico WANGER GUERRERO is aiming to contribute to this transformation process by building collaborative research networks, engineering the required tools and facilitating knowledge exchange between stakeholders.
We are an international and diverse team based at Westlake University in China, passionate about interdisciplinary work, collaboration, and striving to make a difference - for China and globally! If you share our values, come join us!
